I Joist Structural Beams
I-Joists are an engineered wood product made with uniform, precise, straight lines so they are stronger, straighter and more reliable than traditional lumber. I-Joists are less likely to split, shrink, twist or warp and with reduced moisture content they result in floors with fewer pops and squeaks suitable for any residential, commercial or multi-storey premises.
I-Joists are available in long lengths, which allows a single I-joist to span the entire width of a house, but with an intermediate support.

LVL - Laminated Veneer Lumber
LVL is an engineered wood product that uses multiple layers of thin wood assembled with adhesives. It is a vast improvement over solid wood beams and offers several advantages over typical milled lumber in that it has more load carrying capacity, is straighter, and more uniform. It is much less likely than conventional lumber to warp, twist, bow, or shrink due to its composite nature.
So the end result is a more reliable, high-performing and usable product. Made in a factory under controlled specifications, LVL products allow users to reduce the onsite labour and are typically used for headers, beams, rimboard, and edge-forming material.
LVL primarily comes in two widths being 45mm and 63mm; with a 90mm, 120mm, 150mm, 200mm, 241mm, 302mm, 360mm or 400mm depth.
Lengths vary up to 12m.

MGP10/MGP12/Framing Material
Whether you're building a new home or renovating an existing area, Epping Timber Joinery & Hardware Co. Pty Ltd stocks the right framing material required for the job. You can buy individual sticks by length or full packs depending on your requirements. Lengths from 2.4m to 6.0m are available, or multiples of required lengths.
** MGP12 limited stocks only, but can be supplied in large quantities as a special order if required given sufficient notice.
