LVL - Laminated Veneer Lumber

lvlLVL is an engineered wood product that uses multiple layers of thin wood assembled with adhesives. It is a vast improvement over solid wood beams and offers several advantages over typical milled lumber in that it has more load carrying capacity, is straighter, and more uniform. It is much less likely than conventional lumber to warp, twist, bow, or shrink due to its composite nature.

So the end result is a more reliable, high-performing and usable product. Made in a factory under controlled specifications, LVL products allow users to reduce the onsite labour and are typically used for headers, beams, rimboard, and edge-forming material.

LVL primarily comes in two widths being 45mm and 63mm;  with a 90mm, 120mm, 150mm, 200mm, 241mm, 302mm, 360mm or 400mm depth.

Lengths vary up to 12m.
